Mackenzie's E-Portfolio

Hi! I'm Mackenzie and I am 18, I am a first-year student at IUPUI, and I also engage in an extra curricular outside of school called color guard and we practice for about twenty hours per weekend. This activity has really shaped me through the past 9 years into who I am today because it constantly pushed be to be a better teammate and always had me working hard to better my skills in the activity. Through this, I was also able to become a leader and I learned very good time management skills as I had to balance school, work, and color guard. I like to think of myself as a very goal-oriented person so making lists and being able to check things off has always been very motivating for me. I chose IUPUI because I am also a very family-oriented person and with going to school at IUPUI, I was given the opportunity to stay home with my loved ones while further pursuing my education. Growing up, religion has also been very important to me. This included going to church every Sunday and really building a second family there that I knew I could always count on.
